Introducing Lifeshape
February 11, 2006 (Vol. 1, Issue 1)

Dear Friend,

What a joy to know you as our friend and supporter through more than 20 years of international ministry. By God’s Spirit, you have been a partner with us in our passion to impact the world with the good news! You have shared the vision of changing the world through helping people understand and accept eternal salvation in Christ.

Something New!
John and Trudy White We wish we could say the task of sharing the gospel was complete, but, as you know, spiritual darkness continues to invade our world. More than ever, it seems, people are groping in the dark for an abiding relationship with Him. Sadly, what the world needs most is in desperately short supply, laborers who are spiritually mature and thoroughly equipped to work in the gospel harvest fields.

We could not be more excited about what is happening! A little over two years ago, we prayerfully launched Lifeshape Foundation, a new organization with the exciting vision of mentoring godly leaders who will break the chains of global spiritual poverty. We believe God is revolutionizing a new generation of leaders who will impact people all around them. What a joy to be a part of the movement of the Lord.

Breaking the Cycle of Spitirual Poverty
We believe God is calling us to work together with others in mobilizing and uniting believers to use their resources to transform communities everywhere. We envision equipping servant leaders in the emerging generation to live Christ-focused lives that are grounded in the Biblical Christian Worldview so they will impact our culture in the marketplace. Imagine a sacred place where Christian leaders can recharge and find encouragement.

It’s all starting to happen! We are celebrating the exciting and strategic ministries already underway.

The Summit at Ft. Payne A retreat center tucked into 50 acres of private woods in Ft. Payne, Alabama that provides a space for Christian leaders and professionals to retreat from busyness and renew their perspectives.

Communities in Transformation A ministry that mobilizes local leaders to unite their resources in order to transform their communities. Already, a project in the Forest Park Community in Atlanta is well under way with a pilot, after-school program for 3-5th graders. Various faces of the community are represented, including 30 students and 70 volunteers ranging from police officers, local churches and the school board.
