ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Communities in Transformation (C.I.T.), an outreach of Lifeshape Inc., is designed to help neighborhoods come together with the goal of nurturing children as they grow into responsible adults. Many communities are growing rapidly and meeting diverse needs can be a challenge. As communities change, C.I.T. hopes to help concerned members work together to share their talents, resources and unique skills in order to cultivate strong, confident young people. C.I.T. creates a model plan unique to each community, and with the involvement of parents, schools, churches and others, they focus on helping children in need make positive choices. C.I.T. hopes to help people come together as they restore communities and provide honorable role models to children with great potential.
• Change: Our purpose is to help community members build relationships under the common goal of positively influencing today's young people and strengthening communities.
• Grow: With community volunteers - mentors, tutors, artists, musicians, donors and more - positive results will shine through as children grow into mature, responsible adults.
